16 x 20 | oil on canvas
Painted from life in Anderson, Indiana on 9th Street, then finished in the studio. There was a big, rusty barrel next to the wood pile. I painted it out after a while. I considered putting a German shepherd on the porch. Then I decided that the scrap pile and back of the house captured what I was after: Backyardness.
