      Fun in Class 

      Here are some ideas submitted by teachers:

• Have your students draw or paint a scene from the book you are currently reading
• Have your students write a sequel to He Came With the Couch and illustrate it
• Make up a story together.  One person starts, the next person adds to it, etc.

      Story

      that spark the imagination.  So...

      1)  Start with a character:  What kind of character is it?  Human? Animal? Monster? Imaginary?

      3)  Put obstacles in the way:  What problem is keeping the character from what it wants?

           character tick?  Just like in real life, adversity reveals character.
