North Dakota Library Association Conference

Dickinson, North Dakota

 

David will be accepting the 2009 Flicker Tale Award

in the Picture Book category for He Came With the Couch,

the book children across the state of North Dakota voted as their

favorite picture book of the year!

 

David will also be presenting a talk entitled, "Nostrils:  Their Importance" to the conference, followed by a workshop on the creative process.

Workshops 

David also teaches workshops out of his studio in Anderson, Indiana, as well as workshops hosted by organizations around the country.    Workshops can focus on oil painting, illustration, writing for children, and drawing.
